All Space consulting is undertaken by our CEO Dr Tony Stanton. Tony was appointed to the Australian Space Agency's Space Co-ordination Committee (SCC). This Committee is the Australian Government’s forum for information sharing and coordinating its activities and priorities in civil space. The Australian Space Agency chairs the SCC, where specialist policy experts are invited as Members.
CASR PART 101.H AIRSPACE AREA APPROVALS
In a previous role, Tony led the team within the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) that was responsible for granting Area Approvals (CASR Part 101) for the launch of all rockets and space objects in Australian Airspace. Tony and his team worked closely with applicants to determine the risk controls necessary for safe launch and return activity. For over six years, Tony was the delegate within CASA for granting these Area Approvals and, therefore, has a unique insight into the regulatory environment and these applications.
