Strategic Air develops Compliance Management System (CMS) frameworks using the structure and logic of ISO 37301. That standard provides a disciplined basis for designing compliance systems that are clear, scalable and capable of integrating obligations across the whole organisation. We build frameworks around the core elements of context, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement, so compliance is managed as a system rather than as a series of disconnected tasks.

Strategic Air engaged to undertake Factory Acceptance Testing in Madrid, Spain

On behalf of Meridian Helicopters, Strategic Air was engaged to undertake Factory Acceptance Testing of the ENTROL Bell 429 twin-engine helicopter simulator in Madrid, Spain. The assessment was focused on compliance against the applicable contract requirements and relevant certification obligations, to confirm that the device met the specified technical, functional and operational standards. As part of this engagement, Strategic Air travelled to Madrid to conduct the assessment in person, including hands-on operational flying of the device to evaluate its performance, fidelity and suitability for the intended training role. The device has been certified as an FAA Level 5 Flight Training Device under 14 CFR Part 60 and FNPT II MCC under CS-FSTD(H).

Our CEO, Dr Tony Stanton was appointed by the Australian Space Agency (ASA) to the Australian Government Space Co-ordination Committee (SCC).  The SCC is the national forum for coordinating the Australian Government’s activities and priorities in all civil space activities.  

For over six years, Tony was the Australian Government (CASA) delegate for granting Area Approvals for the launch of all high-powered rockets and space objects within Australian Territory. These CASA Area Approvals are a critical part of aviation regulatory compliance, managing the risk of accidents within Australian airspace from the launch site up to 100 km above the Earth.
